New Flower Headbands

Now, I know that when I started this blog I was going to try to crochet more boy items...
it has been such a challenge! What can I say... more people I know have had girls recently! That means I have been able to create more beautifully sweet girly crochet designs! Plus, I can't help but just love anything with pink, ruffles, or flowers. With that being said, one of my good friends is going to have a baby BOY soon!!! I am so excited!!! So... I will be crocheting some fun and funky boy designs in the near future!

Here are the two adorable headbands I made for a baby shower!
I love that they have a little stretch to them so they won't be too tight on baby's precious little head. I think I may have to make a larger version of this headband for myself!

I love this coral pink beauty!

I love the 3 blossom flowers on this...
I can't wait to make more color combinations!

I just listed them both on my Esty shop!

Catching Up w/ Cuteness!

Sorry it's been a while since I last posted, but between work, my kiddos and a little vacation I have been a little pre-occupied. :-)

This last week I have been working on a few orders... this adorable fall sweater being one of them!  I made this for a sweet friend who will be giving it to her hairdresser.  I just absolutely LOVE the way it turned out!  It was actually a little hard to give it up, but I know it will be appreciated.  That is one thing about crocheting... it is definitely a labor of love!

I had a little extra yarn so I made up a cute little flower clip to match!

I have also been working on a few headbands recently...
I LOVE to embelish my flowers to make them more unique!

I wanted to experiment with broomstick lace headbands and figured,
why not make a 4th of July headband!

I loved the way the first broomstick lace headband turned out so I wanted to try it with different sizes.  I decided to design a purple button and beaded flower headband...

I am going to be working on a few pairs of baby boy loafers and girl booties that I will post soon...

Have a great 4th of July everyone!

Dinosaur Hat ROAR...

In between trying to put dishes away, put my little one down for a nap, and feed my oldest a snack... I found time to finish up this adorable dinosaur hat. When I find a cute idea for a boy I just have to make it! Lets not count out the little girls who want a dinosaur hat!!! I can make this in any color you choose!

Have a GREAT Weekend!

Holey Hair Clips

Since it's getting warmer outside I decided that hair clips would be a necessity.  These are just so darn cute!  I tried a few different styles and can't wait to try a few more tonight.  I think my favorite is just the simple small rosette.  You can add them to any crocheted hat or headband for that matter.  There are so many different ways to wear them...

Holey Boys Bow Tie!

OMG!!!
I am so excited about this little bow tie, it turned out better than I expected!
I have been wanting to make a Bow Tie for some time now...
I don't know why it took me so long!
These little guys are going to be so adorable for Easter!!!

Of course I had to have one of my little men model it...

I think I hear my little one waking up from his nap!  Until next time...

Large Shell Stitch Jacket with Matching Hat!

This is the cutest thing that I have made so far! It is the most precious little girl jacket that can be made with long or short sleeves.  I decided to make it short sleeves for the spring and summer.  I am actually a little sad I have to send it away, but I know it will be in good hands! :-) I can't wait to see pictures of the little cutie wearing it!

This is a picture of the matching set!

Now I am definitely going to have to make a cute little boy set.

Beaded Flower Clip

When I am not at home with my boys I work at one of the best retailers in the country!   I get to actually put makeup on and get all dressed up!  We have themed days occasionally, and this last weekend we had a coral event for the launch of the new BVLGARI 'Omnia Coral' fragrance.  So I decided to make myself a hair clip for a little pop of color!  I added a few beads to jazz it up a little too!

I am almost finished with the sweater made to match the large shell stitch hat w/ purple flower.
I will post that a little later!  :-)

I Love My Paramedic!

My husband is an amazing Paramedic and we are always looking for Paramedic things for both of my boys.  Well, there just isn't a lot out there to choose from! So... I decided to take it upon myself to make a hat for all of those people with Paramedics in their lives!  I still need to perfect the Star of Life, but here's a first look at the hat and my little model wearing it...

I will be adding this to my Etsy site as soon as I figure out the correct pattern I want to use!

Baseball Hat

My son started T-ball this year, so I figured in honor of BASEBALL season I decided to make a baseball hat!  I want to try and make a few more designs for boys, since there aren't too many options out there! Those will be coming soon!

Large Shell Stitch Hat w/ Irish Rose

This is a hat I am sending to a family member who's little girl is due in April!  I will be posting this on my Etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/holeyknots (made to order) later today.  I finally decided what flower I wanted to add to this precious large shell stitch hat.  This Irish Rose minus a few rows of petals is just what the hat needed.  I'm working on the matching sweater that is just as adorable as the hat!  I just ran out of yarn... so back to Michael's tomorrow.

Coming Soon... BOYS HATS!!!

Starting Out...

For all of you who don't know me, my name is Nicole and I am a mother of two beautiful boys with whom I love to spend every minute with.  I am also a wife to an amazing husband who puts up with all of my crafting.  I started crocheting hats and blankets for my boys when they were born and have been "hooked" ever since!  I have always loved to make homemade gifts and just recently decided to start selling some of my crochet designs.  Here are a few things I've recently made...
